National Community College Conference
Implementing Apprenticeship Programs

Monday, October 8 – Tuesday, October 9, 2018

 

Join us at Harper College for this one-of-a-kind two-day National Conference dedicated to apprenticeships programs in community/technical colleges. This is a working conference for your college Apprenticeship Team emphasizing innovative approaches in the delivery of successful apprenticeship programs, marketing strategies targeting employers and potential apprentices, and practical insights to increase apprentice retention.  The conference goal is for the Apprenticeship Team to take away practical options and solutions to manage and grow quality apprenticeship programs at your college.

 

The Joyce Foundation has generously provided support for the conference
so participants only need to cover travel & lodging.

Included in Full Conference Registration

  • Breakfast, lunch and refreshments both days
  • Dinner and cash bar at Maggiano’s in Schaumburg with John Ladd, Director, Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship

Suggested Attendees Include (up to 3 team members)*:

  • Dean / Administrator or higher (Champion) in Workforce & Economic Development (or the area in the college where apprenticeships will reside)
  • Academic Career Dean or Faculty Program Coordinator
  • Admissions Director

*Space is limited. Community Colleges are asked to reserve your participation to three team members or fewer. A waiting list will generate once the conference is full. We will confirm attendance prior to the event, so wait-listed colleges have an opportunity to take the place of cancellations.
